Michael J. Ling, CFP®
An economics graduate of the University of California at Berkeley: specifically macroeconomics and economic history Originally from Maine, Mike founded Berkeley, Inc. in 1996 after working with American Express Financial Advisors and IFG Network Securities, Inc., He has seventeen years’ industry experience, which includes comprehensive financial planning, asset management, retirement planning, and investment management. Mike has been actively involved in the community, having served as president of the Cal Berkeley Alumni Association of Idaho, the Treasure Valley Economics Association, United Cerebral Palsy of Idaho, Life’s Kitchen; Capital Matrix and currently serves on the Western Regional Board of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. Besides his work with community programs, Mike enjoys golfing, physical fitness and has enjoyed skydiving. He and his wife, Cy, live in Eagle, Idaho and enjoy working with their three dogs (Chocolate Lab, Yellow Lab and Flat Coated Retriever) which are human remains detection and therapy certified.
